EMERGENCY WATER SHUT OFF

Please be advised:

6/26/19 - 4:30 pm - Water has been SHUT OFF on Chaco Ave. from Zuni Dr. to Santiago Ave. and Canyon Pl. from Ute St. to Chaco Ave.

During this time, customers may be WITHOUT WATER or experience low water pressure. Crews are working as quickly as possible to repair a broken water main.

If the service disruption will last longer than anticipated, we will provide additional updates. You can also call JACOBS, the company that operates and maintains the water system for the City of Farmington, at (505) 326-1918, for additional information or any questions.

SCHEDULED WATER OUTAGE NOTICES

Please be advised: 

1) The City of Farmington will be removing an old regulator from service on 30th St. and Butler Ave. Thursday, June 27, 2019, from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. The water will be off east to west Butler Ave. to Ocio St. AND north to south 38th St. to 30th St. (see map below).

2) The City of Farmington will be expanding water services in the area of S. Bluffview Ave. and E. Murray Dr. Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The WATER WILL BE OFF on S. Bluffview Ave. from E Murray Dr. to Peach St.

During this time, there may be no water, low water pressure and/or discolored water to homes and businesses in the affected area.

2019 SURFACE MANAGEMENT PROJECT MAP

The 2019 Surface Management Project map is a tool used to locate current and upcoming planned resurfacing projects within the City of Farmington. Green lines represent current projects, while gold lines represent upcoming projects that have not yet begun. The following resurfacing applications are planned for 2019: Mill & Inlay, HA5 and Chip Seal.

MILL & INLAY STREET MAINTENANCE PROJECT 

Please be advised a major street maintenance project will begin Monday, May 20, 2019 through Friday, October 25, 2019. Mill & Inlay will be completed on several streets throughout the City.

HA5 HIGH DENSITY MINERAL BOND PROJECT

Please be advised the following locations will be CLOSED to allow for HA5 application. Construction hours are set for 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, but each location will remain CLOSED for 24 hours to allow for the application to cure. Residents and businesses in the area have been notified.

CITY OF FARMINGTON STREETS DEPT.
PATCHING & CRACK SEALING PROJECT

The City of Farmington Streets Department will be potholing various locations throughout the city. Locations may be RESTRICTED for a short period of time during this process, detours and barricades will be in place.

CITY OF FARMINGTON STREETS DEPT. COLD MILL PROJECT

The City of Farmington Streets Department will begin the cold milling process on various City streets. Locations may be RESTRICTED for a short period of time during this process. 

Detours and barricading will be in place. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.

CITY OF FARMINGTON STREET RE-STRIPING PROJECT

The City of Farmington's Traffic Department will begin re-striping various City streets April 29, 2019 through July 31, 2019.  Motorists are advised to use caution in the area of the paint truck and avoid tracking wet paint.

W. MAIN ST. WATER & SEWER LINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT

The W. Main St. Water & Sewer Line Replacement Project is currently in progress. This major project includes replacement of the water and sewer lines along W. Main St., from the east side of W. Main Walmart to Valle Vista Dr., as well as W. Murray Dr., south of W. Main St. to 1515 W. Murray Dr.

Estimated Completion Date: August 2019

Construction Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

SULLIVAN AVE. WATER LINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT

The Sullivan Ave. Water Line Replacement Project is currently in progress. This major project includes replacement of waterlines along Sullivan Ave. between 20th St. and 30th St.

Construction Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

2P, PHASE II WATERLINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT

The 2P, Phase 2 Waterline Replacement Project is currently in progress.  This major project includes replacement waterlines on  Old McCormick School Rd. E. Murray Drive and Hydro Plant Rd.

Estimated Completion Date: August 1, 2019
