    Small animals made by folding and wrapping split willow wands have been found in archaeological sites thousands of years old. Try your hand at this ancient craft using willow cuttings from Animas Park and take home your own creation. Some patience is required at first.

  4. Museum EdVenture: Wine Making in the Four Corners - SOLD OUT

    August 25, 2018, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Farmington Museum

    Join us for a Museum EdVenture! On Saturdays throughout the year, you will have the opportunity to explore the cultural heritage of the Four Corners on an all-day, adults-only field trip. Registration is required and transportation to and from the museum is provided. Participants are asked to bring a sack lunch. Farmington Museum Foundation Members, call to get a registration discount! In late August, join Farmington Museum Director Bart Wilsey for a tour of the Four Corners vineyards and wineries. Participants will enjoy a tour of the New Mexico State University Research Station Test Vineyard and Cedar Hill Vineyard, and a full wine tasting and tour of Fox Fire Farms Winery in Ignacio, Colorado.
